New building tip: The replacement feature allows you to fit things in which wouldn’t have been possible before. For example, have you ever had a foundation sunk in so that only a triangle would work and not a square wall? Place the triangle and then replace the triangle with the square wall. The square wall will no go through the ground to the foundation.

@Bestow3000 After you select a structure to build with, look for an option to enter replacement mode. On PS5, it is the right joystick (R3). Then, look at the part you want to replace and press either the build button or repeated build button.

@ Out of curiosity does it basically just align the item with another so it sticks in place?

@@Bestow3000 It matches the full original position, so no rotations or movement, just replacement. Due to this, you can do things like hot swap foundations without destroying a structure.
