A neat part about this is that Mammorest will drop meat that fills huge amounts of hunger, meaning that you can easily feed your Faleris after its hunger drops from all the flying and Phoenix Flaring.

Mount Obsidian Midpoint Down the hill, to the ring of lava and start killing the Flambelle. They spawn in groups of 2-3 on Normal - Default. They give less oil per kill, but 2 groups gets you as much and each lap is worth 3+ Mammorests, on average, in my experience.

or you can sell Nails at a merchant for 320 gold each since your bases should produce ingots by the thousands passively, and buy both of those from vendors. Pal Oil is like 400g a piece and Leather is even cheaper. I buy them by the hundreds

Selling nails is kinda dumb. You can make a tomato auto-farm (with some lettuce so you can make food for pals) and just sell those to vendor raw and no materials needed and 100% automatic. (just be sure they are put into a cold spot)

Yes you might kill them quicker but you get less loot per. Also you will have to have a sulfur mining base to farm the ammo

You could also make a Mau farm and accumulate gold coins to buy the Oil from the merchant at the fishing spot fast travel point at the volcano region. It's much easier.

Easier but unlikely when you get into endgame breeding. also there are a lot of people out there who would rather farm. As you can see you can also get many other resources other than just pal oil which you can't buy from traders. Also there are better pals than mau to use at a ranch for gold.

I just buy pal oil from a merchant. If you have a good ingot farm base you can just make nails and sell them for big bucks and then buy as much oil as you need. I also buy ammo for my guns instead of crafting it. Way easier and cheaper on resources. Ingot = Nails = $$$

Same i just catch the merchants for cake ingredients, ammo, and mats and buy from them. selling nails plus killing black merchant and re loading in game gives infinite money to buy mostly everything you need just need to farm the pal fluid if only there was a merchant for that 🤣
