I never truly understood how people were breeding these crazy passives onto pals, they would just drop videos saying "you need a ranch, cake, and then get breeding!" but never has anyone ever explained breeding chains. I never had luck with breeding by breeding the pals I want stuff on first and hoping they just have good offspring. If I'm understanding you right, I just need chikipis and then I try to breed that into pals that breed into what I want ultimately? But make sure I have the ultimate chikipi first to start the chain? Makes so much more sense than being told the obvious stuff and feeling like I'm missing the picture. Thank you Professor! You're a blessing for simpletons like myself.

You can just brute force until some good skill pops up, but Right now you can skip the whole breeding chain by using Yakumo, It's much more effective in the long run

For Pal Souls, you can also farm Wixen Nocts while riding Faleris Aqua. They spawn a lot on the Sakurajima Desert. You can also grind respawn them on the dungeons. This also gives you decent exp grind.

Is Faleris Aqua or Nitemary better for pal soul farming? I know you need them to be out to collect more souls per kill.

Isn’t the homing sphere launcher obsolete now that we have homing module?

Kind of yes, i mean it's still good for lower level/new players before they can get the homing module (it is fairly expensive to craft).

I would absolutely love a more in depth tour of your bases. How you get up to 20 breeding farms, ideal way to supply said farms with cake, the money for the cake, setting up expedition caves in a space effecient way, any other choices for food to farm for general labor and any other general tasks at this point in the game. I still have too much stuff sitting around from the mid game and 4 farms isnt enough. So theres a lot that need to be cut out from my bases but its deciding what can stay is difficult, like the triple oil spot is difficult to tell if necessary or not.

You cheat. Go to world settings and make everything as easy as possible.

When starting out, make and sell legendary spheres with a party of fine furs + noble. Use the gold to buy cake materials. You can do expeditions with some budget teams of just condensing level 35+ pals a few steps to help your main pals out. Prioritize breeding good base pals first, starting with astegon, anubis, jormuntide and jignis.

If you set loot to x3 it is 51 large souls per farm per hour and looking at how many pals you are running in your base you can easily get thousands of large pal souls an hour and it is a lot less micro managing than constantly sending pals on expeditions every 5mins. If it was pre Feybreak I would say thatt the issue would be that you need needed to hatch each egg individually but now it is so damn fast to hatch eggs. In short breeding is the lowest effort choice to get souls.

You can use any mix of 0-4 passives on the other parent, it will be the same chance of a 4/4.

u have to stop the work of all the others pals you have on the base

its harder now. any work going on at the base will level the pals working there up, additionally if they are in your party any work in any base will level them up, so you pretty much have to go AFK for awhile if you plan on giving IV fruits as you can totally ruin your breeder by accidentally equipping it.

@@reignreigngoaway1675 it seems like most of the bosses they are adding are dragon type so Absolute frost is a safe bet. but there is a whole slew of candidate skills like Jet's new Meteorain, or the newly-made-official Dark Wisp that do some real work.

Yeah extrapolating between his bastigor video with double blizzard spike doing more damage than diamond rain and his raid video, absolute frost outdps'ing it as well demotes diamond rain to the best 3rd ice skill now. Probably a hitbox dependent use case for AF and DBS. And yeah quite a bit of other candidates too. Palprof doing the God's work as per usual. 🙏

Sooo for breeding an army, 2 stars is good enough dont dont realy need to go for 4 stars?

If you do random iv pals you will have 15 4/4 pals at around 2-stars for each one. If you breed for 4/4, 100iv pals you will have 15 of them around the time you have 4-stars on each, so it kind of ends up like this naturally. The difference between 2-star and 4-star is only 10% stats, so you should still be able to do everything bar Xenolord (ultra) with 2-star, random ivs.

Yeah the souls are a big deal. You can start with +30 then go for +60 to speed up the raid farming.

Ex: it has +30 souls, does it also transfer these souls to the other one or do I lose them in the transfer? Thanks!

I have been catching and breeding pals like crazy lately and I have yet to find a single one with the demon god trait. Is it really that rare, or is there something I'm missing??

I think they are around 1/500 on captures. It took me 3500 xenolord hatches to get it, so breeding seems a bit slower since the pal first needs to mutate a passive. You can easily catch 2000 pals without seeing the passive you want while getting 4 swift instead. Use dr brawn each day as well for the raid bosses.

So they only learn the skill that you breed onto them. If you level them up, they’ll keep learning new skills, making it harder to pass on the specific skill you want to pass on (the pool of active skills increased).

took me over 1k catches to get the work speed one, I got all the others multiple times. I have to do it again on a save with my friend and I'm already getting close to another 1k the rng is rough lol

there are 2 main ways: 1) catch Dr Brawn and get him to do surgery on your pals once per day. You will hit a rainbow passive about 30% of the time which means you have about 1 in 27 odds for each of the non-locked ones. 2) You will encounter the new passives at about a 1% rate, so that is either during spam catching (fastest) or through random mutation in breeding. Yakumo is faster for pals you can catch in the wild as it transfers about 30% of the time, but just get started breeding and you may get lucky along the way.
