There's a lot of bugs, parts of the game are a mess, there's tonal whiplash, and I don't see any game on the horizon for me that'll beat it as my favorite game of the year. It's definitely my favorite monster collecting game although I should put a massive asterisk next to that and say I haven't played Pokemon since original Ruby and Sapphire because I just don't care much for turn based combat. A more action oriented take on it is definitely preferrable to me and the base building and stuff are really addicting.
