Great video, I love learning new color combinations with the Black Widow pencils. I don't think I could pick a favorite color from the Monarch set, they are all beautiful. Skye is definitely one of the prettier colors, but I also love the paler colors like Candy.

I use Candy for a highlight color with many other darker colors to make them pop off the page. I think that I used Candy in my last video where I colored a flower and created a gorgeous color combination in that video as well. Thank you for watching.

I've had this book for awhile and haven't done one page as of yet. You have inspired me to get it out and color along. I have all the Black Widow pencils, including the new Monarch ones. I started coloring a free page by Rita Berman and have used only the Monarch pencils except for one other Black Widow. So far, my favorite pencil color is Emerald. I think it really goes well with Skye.

It is unusual. I noticed that when I was making my swatch video and even got confused about where I should fit it in. I’m not sure any other set of pencils has a color like Cats Eye.

Thank you so much for the video Pamela. I would have to say my favorite color in the Monarch collection would probably have to be Mango. But I love all the greens , which seem to be a little different than what you see in other sets. One reason I wanted to get the Monarch set was because of the pastel colors. Now my black widow collection is complete! 😁😁

Could you use BW pencils with Nice Little Town by Tatiana Bogema or Ivy & th Inky Butterfly or Maria Trolle. This the only book I have of hers but i could follow along. I love these pencils too.

You said Maria Trolle? This one is Nightfall. Which one is it that you have? I only have one Nice Little Town book and I have gotten so spoiled with paper that I don't do much coloring in the books with Amazon paper anymore.
