Uniek's eyes were droopy when she got to the other side. At one point I thought I could see RS's ribs but realized it was the shadow from the cage bars!!😂🤣😂🤣💘💞 very interspersed & educational video!!! Thanks for sharing!!!💘💞💘🐎🐴🐎🐴

Fabulous! I've now watched an entire horse massage. It was delightful! I relaxed right along with Miss Uniek! I'm glad Rising Star is feeling better. His eyes looked so dark. Poor baby

My most favorite part is when Uniek starts to tickle her son and gives him little scratches while she gets her massage. I can tell this is a very loving. A kind of way that Uniek tells her baby that she loves him and she thinks he is cute. I haven’t seen the other mares do this with their foals or maybe I just haven’t noticed it but I think it’s the best!

I learned from watching these videos that when two horses groom each other, it's in the same location on the other horse. So the therapist massages Uniek on her rump, Uniek grooms RS on his rump! Pretty cool.

I love the way Uniek reacts. Her mouth really relaxes and she blinks at certain moments. I suppose I make the same goofy face when my fysiotherapist loosens my neck muscles 😂

@@marthakratz7877 Rinse Janko bit Rising Star and he had a swollen area near his mouth. His bahaviour alerted Yvonne that something wasn't right. She took RS's temperature.. But discovered the bite mark. Riding Star wasn't feeling well because if it. According to Yvonne, he improved and felt better.

When I first got my mare she was out of alignment and had neck and back problems. At the stable I kept her a horse chiropractor came once a month and he made adjustments to her neck and spine. After she was much smoother to ride. I felt bad that I rode her while she was in pain.

Interesting this comes up now. I’ve been a massage therapist for years and had recently decided to get certified on equine massage. This is like a confirmation lol. I thought Rising Star was simply reacting to the energy. My cat would get very sleepy and relaxed when I was giving massages to my clients.

Lucky Uniek!! She seemed to really enjoy her massage- yes I want a massage too! ☺️. Have you ever heard of using garlic powder in their feed to keep flys off of them? Apparently the fly’s don’t like the smell the horses have. Not sure how true it is or if it’s expensive, I heard about it a while back & some owners swear by it - better than fly spray! Maybe worth investigating 🤷‍♀️
