they do not nest for storage, but I wish they did !

Do you recommend filling them with hot water to “pre heat” before putting in hot items? I put chicken thighs from oven in one and went to party and it really didn’t work that well?

You can certainly do that but I will say, I have never warmed them up first. I’m surprised that you didn’t have good results. Were you sure the lid was on tight and stayed on until you were ready to serve? It should keep food hot for 2 hours.

How do I open the lid? After washing it last time somehow water got inside the lid. I did take the screw out, but I’m not sure where it come apart. I don’t want to break it. Please help. Tia!

Hi Joyce, it sounds like maybe it got submerged in water and unfortunately there isn't an easy fix for getting the water out. I've never had this happen to any of mine but I do know others that had this happen and I haven't heard of a quick or successful way to get it out. I'm so sorry.

You can but I've never done that before so it's not necessary

On the go bowls are not vacuum insulated, like the white bowls. Thats kind of a big difference....

The white bowls are vacuum insulated. The on the go bowls are just double walled but Not vacuum insulated. This is a big difference in insulating ability. Their marketing is sneaky to make you think they are the same. If you fill both bowls with boiling water, you will feel the heat escaping through the walls on the on the go bowls but not the white bowls.

I just wanted to add that I spoke with the head of our product development team and he assured me that the bowls are exactly the same construction. The only difference is the lid and color.

Ok. Thank you! If that truly is the case then they really need to change the verbiage on their website as the on the go bowls specifically say double walled but leave out vacuum insulated. The white one is specifically advertised as being vacuum insulated. It's a bigger miss as the vacuum insulation is what can justify the 150 dollar price tag. Without that, no way you can command that price.

They don’t all 5 nest together but the 3 white bowls will fit inside of each other without the lids
