Your Mum is beautiful! Such kind eyes. I, personally, am in love with the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It is very moisturizing, yet gives a good coverage plus sunscreen, which just works for my 55 year old skin xox

I actually tend to adjust the coverage of my foundation (bought the ELDWL on your recommendation - so happy with it) with a little moisturiser in summer because my skin gets too oily throughout the day with most tinted moisturisers. Using my hands instead of a brush for application also helps. Love not only your reviews, but also listening to your accent ;).

I'm 43 and on my second bottle of Chanel Les Beiges Tinter Moisturizer and I have rarely if ever rebought most foundation products. It is a great daily quick makeup for me and lasts on my dry skin wonderfully in the south florida heat and humidity. It looks like my skin but better. I get compliments all the time on my skin when wearing it, which is the best compliment ever in my opinion!

I burst out laughing when you mentioned your Mom and QVC. I do the exact same thing. I text my daughters about the TSV. And now with 3 QVC channels, more to text. You both look beautiful. You do such a thorough job and it’s so appreciated when you mention products that contain fragrance. In the U.S., over the last ten years or so, everything under the sun is scented. Laura Mercier is my go to. Love the moisture and the light coverage. I tend to use It CC Cream more in the winter. Anything Laura Mercier is my favorite!!

Hi Gemma, it's really interesting how different you evaluate some of the products than I do😀 The one I like most is the CT Light wonder. It doesn't move into my wrinkles at all and it sits so great on my skin for hours without even powdering which leeds to a fantastic natural result (with enough coverage). I really appreciate that you insist on telling that these all don't give sufficient sun protection. Especially as the SPF factor is a factor about the UVB only...says nothing about the dangerous UVA rays. Great video, so much research by you👍👏😘😘🙋🏼‍♀️

I just purchased a bottle of Chanel's Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Moisturizing Tint and I LOVE IT. I've worn Shiseido's Tinted Moisturizer for over 20 years and wanted a change. Why did I wait so long????? The Chanel gives wonderful coverage yet feels light. I live in Florida with high humidity and this wears perfectly. (June 2020)

Great review! The No 7 drops are my favorite, as well. I have mixed them with various things depending on how much hydration my skin needs on a particular day. I was SO excited when you mentioned in your most recent sunscreen review how the Australian Gold can make a good primer. I tried mixing the No 7 drops with the Australian Gold and really liked it! Love the YSL Touché Eclat. Same tint you have. It is just a little yellow on me. But no other color is right. Love the review. This is helpful. I love the IT CC, but, I find if I mix it with something more “runny” (Urban Decay Naked Skin) it is a lot lighter without losing coverage. Maybe your mum can mix it with something and see what she thinks! I don’t even use half a pump when I mix them.

I add a small squirt of Bare with Me to IT CC and it does double duty in thinning the consistency as well as lightening the IT colour (which is about half a shade too dark).

I like both the IT cc cream and the maybelline urban foundation, the IT better than I do the other. I really want to try the nyx and the ysl. I ended up returning the bareminerals complexion rescue. The times it looked bad out weighed the times that it looked good.

I checked for reviews on "YSL Touche Eclat All In One Glow", and I found yours. I wanted to give it a try, especially since your Mom likes it. And it is everything you say, gorgeous in every way ! Sits al day, looks awesome ! And though I actually meant it as a in-hurry-in-the-morning-light-make-up , I find myself using it to all occasions . And the weirdest (And a very positive surprise ! ) thing is - not only can I use it under my eyes without having any issues - it looks Way better than my Laura Mercier concealer! Which I loved ontil now. Thank you for sharing :)

In an attempt to cut down on products for the summer, I bought the Australian Gold tinted SPF. I’m very fair (alabaster in clinique) and the tint works really well. First try out today and I love it, enough sheer coverage with a bit of concealing on the odd blemish.

I also bought the Australian Gold tinted botanical sunscreen. I found the colour, feel, cover and the whole look of it perfect for the summer. Like Jan, I do t wear foundation over it. It looks lovely on me. I’m very happy with Gemma and Jans recommendations

I wanted to love the Australian Gold tinted SPF, but I have dry skin with lines around my eyes. The Australian Gold made my skin feel really tight and dry, and it made the lines around my eyes even deeper and more pronounced. People with oily skin really seem to love it though. So far what has worked for me is Elta MD 44 SP

So far what has worked for me is the Elta MD tinted SPF 44. I love that it keeps me hydrated, I just wish it felt lighter. It also causes my waterproof mascara to transfer to my lower lid unless I wear a setting powder, which I don't want to use under my eyes, because the power emphasizes my crepey skin and lines. Mature skin challenges!

I am a huge fan of the No 7 drops. I mix with one drop of tamanu oil from Leven Rose and it applies beautifully. I do set lightly with powder as I live in the South where heat and high humidity are summertime daily issues. Wears all day and is lovely.

I have pale skin like you and, what I have realized is your bronzer, always makes you look like you have such a beautiful glow! Can you please do a favorite bronzer video sooner rather than later before the summer is much more spent? I looked at the bronzer from The Body Shop and it has soy, which I am allergic to. :( I am looking for something affordable and am also new to bronzers. You apply yours so beautifully! Great video Gemma & Jan! You did a fab job trying the products out properly. I totally agree the Chanel Eau de Teint is very sheer but it feels amazing on the skin. Like you said in your very first video on this product ... “it’s a very expensive primer”. I wear this as a primer or on my “minimal make up days” with a very light dusting of Laura Mercier’s Glow Setting powder and a bit of the Chanel bronzer. I was just looking online (on American sites) for the NYX Bare With Me product. All I could find were a few shades through Target’s site. Ulta and Walmart didn’t even have it listed. I’m wondering if there is a problem with production or quality. Hopefully it will return to the stores soon since it’s a good product. A recommendation from Jan and Gemma is always worth trying. I appreciate how much time and effort they give their wear tests.
