I'm the child of a Queen! I was raised by a single mother. She taught me to be flipping strong. She did her besssst. As a child I can remember moments when she was tired and struggling, depressed and lonely. I've seen her cry many times but still it felt like her world was centered around me and doing the best for me, she made sure I had a normal childhood. She sacrificed so much, gave me the best of everything, education etc... I never went to bed hungry, I don't know how she managed all that while juggling her career and to add to that I was sick as a child and the medical expenses were outrageous but she did it, she spent so many sleepless nights being my nurse, my teacher, my friend... when I was 13 my little sister was born and unfortunately a couple years later history repeated itself and some man nuh waah handle dem bbc responsibility but my mom proved she could be a super single mother AGAIN. She does it with so much grace and courage!!! I love you Mommmmyyy omgggg 😭😭😭😭 This is a powerful song. I love it. Thank you for uplifting single moms. I respect them all.
