But because of certain movie choices Vijay became smaller than Surya in the late 2000s. Surya became popular in Andhra in the same period. But then Vijay came back hard with Thuppakki in 2012. It was one of his best film to come at that time. Whereas Surya had an average movie in 2012 which is Maattraan. But he did give a hit in 2013 which Singam 2. But since Anjaan released in 2014 Surya became so low. Anjaan did a lot of damaged. But Vijay gave 2 hits in 2014, one is Jilla and the other is Katthi. Chiranjeevi Re maker Katthhi in 2017 called Khaidi No. 150. In 2015 both Vijay and Surya gave flop. In 2016 Vijay came back with Atlee's Theri. Ever since then he never had a flop. Whereas Surya never had a hit since 2013. Surya's last hit is in 2013. Everything after that is either a flop or average. Jai Bheem and Soorarai Potru are OTT hits. His upcoming movie is Kanguva but nobody seems to have a hope because it is directed by Siva who directed Rajnikanth's worst film Annaatthe. Let's see.
