Yordan Martinov Theres so much music out there. I sold a mixer to a guy on a yard sell outside my house last weekend. It said 200sek (€20) and after me demonstrating it he said do you want records instead of money? Later that day I was in his flat. He is a hoarder and there was crates of techno in all of the living room. The amount of crates was nothing special per se (30?) but the thing was it was ONLY carefully curated minimal, electro, soundscape, progressive and psy. We worked out some records and some of them are complete killers. He had like me once been a rocker so Led Zeppelin was there too like in my crates. He was careful too. Told me the best shit can be on the b sides so we choosed my records carefully and he let most of them go that I found.

Oke dan .... deze mix, Track 01: Confronted van het Album: Confronted 2009 / mobilee 054 van de artist: Pan-Pot is dus blijkbaar al in 2009 uitgebracht door Pan-Pot. In 2017, zo'n 8 jaar later komt Fisher aanzetten met gruwelijke tracks, beats en mixen. Nu ik Confronted van Pan-Pot aan hoor, blijkt hij dus de grondlegger te zijn van deze wreede beats die duidelijk herkenbaar zijn als je de tracks van Fisher luisterd, zijn werk van de periode 2017 tot 2020. Zowiezo mijn respect voor Pan-Pot die met dit meesterlijke album die geniale beats, mix heeft uitgebracht! Weliswaar heeft Fisher die beats inmiddels verder door en af ge(re)mixt en uiteindelijk met een eigen draai eraan ook fantastische mixen gemaakt. Dus geen plagiaat, maar overduidelijk hoor je wel die beats van track 01: Confronted uit het Album: Confronted 2009 / mobilee 054 terug komen in het werk van Fisher. Dit is dan ook de reden waarom ik deze text hier drop. Want het album: Confronted van Pan-Pot, zijn creatie blijkt dus de basis van Fisher zijn mixen te zijn en daardoor ook zijn bekentheid als DJ. Want 2017 was namelijk het breakout jaar voor Fisher, met groot succes kwam Fisher wereldwijd aan de top als DJ. Wow.
