The Boulevard in my town in the mid- and late-1970s was something to behold. Gorgeous women like this EVERYWHERE, music like this on the radio EVERYWHERE, and all my friends had the high-performance iron from the 1960s (because you could buy those cars cheap at the time) or VANS! Fabulous custom vans! Saturday nights were always fun. The drive ins, the arcades that were starting to pop up everywhere, the 'secret' party spots, the concerts. I dug the fashions the ladies wore (tight jeans like these were just awesome!) and the hair styles they had and just how laid back everything was. Someone always had weed, and if you weren't monunmentally stupid, the cops would more or less leave you alone. I'm not going to deride the modern generations, but they never will know what it was like, and that's a cryin shame.

Look, you have to get over people who want to disfigure themselves. Tats screw up their immune systems - it's always in overdrive, according to immunologists, the people who Know. For their lifetime, they attack the ink. And taking themselves out of the Attractive Pool, is their choice. I LOVE skin, as a ballet dancer, who gets to touch it. Just let them GO. Like you have to let the Other Dead and ugly go.

"You Ain't Seen..." is highly unlikely to have reached the UK top 30 (which is, I take it, the reason for its being in this video) until October 1974.

When they took their turns doing their own bit, it took me back to when there would be a party or just at a disco and a group would dance in a circle and all take turns to go to the middle for a little show your stuff. Me too…..if people listen to the rubbish spouted about it today they will think it was all strikes, terrorism, racist comedy and sex pests at work. By and large these experts weren’t even born yet, the 70s was a glorious decade, I know I’d prefer to live it again rather than this one.
