Eyeshadow is still my favourite and most creative and fun part of my makeup routine. Usually after I’ve done my eyes I’m so annoyed I have to do the rest of my face because it just bores me haha

Same. I still wear eyeshadow, and I enjoy it, but I'm definitely becoming more utilitarian with how I'm using it. I got a bit bored with my pan that palette at the start of May, so decided to start an eyeshadow roulette. The goal is to use each shade I roll in 10x. So far I'm enjoying it, and It hasn't really taken away from my pan that palette. I still use it regularly. :) It's been fun reaching for palettes and singles that I wouldn't normally reach for, to combine them and figure out how to incorporate them to create a cohesive look. I want to hit more pans in my collection, and maybe eventually I will, but right now I'm just more interested in getting to know things better.

There are times when i don't crave wearing eyeshadow as well, so i can totally understand that. Slow progress is still progress, and it's only natural to have different phases of panning. 🥰

You will get back into the shades you just might need to add some fun shimmers that you choose. I have been leaning more neutral of late and wanting to reach for neutrals and I find it so funny because I have become so much more comfortable with colours and colourful looks so I guess its going in waves. My goal is to use all the palettes I own no pan left behind and I am well on the way to getting there so just letting myself pick what I want while also focusing on project level up and my crazy goals for that one as well as my singles project its all balance. You made progress still and those dips are huge.

I’m on the same page I haven’t been wearing traditional eyeshadow lately. Just been using bronzer in the crease and whatever blush I’m using as my lid color. I just like the over all look when it’s lore cohesive these days.
