Great interview. The way Panache Desai talks with such calm and confidence shows the high level of introspection and meditative consciousness he has achieved. I personally haven't seen that even in the Dalai Lama. It was a delight watching Rick and Desai discuss spirituality with such intensity. Thank you very much.

I resonate with Panache. At first I was dubious and thought he seemed on a bit of an ego trip but hearing his whole story I think he strikes a good balance between "ego" and "spiritual being", which is an important topic that he addresses....I like that he says we are entering an era where everyone will be enlightened, and isn't putting himself out there as a teacher as much as a leader, which is a really important distinction. Interesting interview.

when i waa 5 i had that experience of being the center and source of everything and everything within Me as Me. it started shine through throughout my life, shinning as love. Now at 49 I'm always living in that seemless reality.. sometimes more in the foreground, sometimes receding but never lost. For years I've not wanted to take responsibility for communicating it, partly because im secretive by nature and partly because i wanted to know i wasn't full of bullshit. Now i know im just as there as anyone on these shows, which is one of the great benefits I've found here.

I would ask Panache the following questions 1. The level of spontaneity he has achieved is amazing. Does he have even the slightest of doubt or fear, that he will lose this state and fall back? 2. What were his strongest desires and fears? Have they melted away completely? 3. Has he achieved the highest level of consciousness like said about Buddha? If not, what is he doing towards achieving that? 4. How can one be sure that he/she is truly enlightened? Many meditators and even hardened yogis have an illusion of enlightenment. But the strongest desires and fears again resurface. How can you be completely sure that the EGO has completely left your personality? 5. "Big Bang Theory" is the most accepted theory about the Origin of this universe. But the Yogis and the great sages always said "Time and Space have no beginning or ending" as everything is Just in the Mind. What is his take on these concepts? Are there parallel Universes?

Panache talks about Vibrational Density ie the burden of Karma and Desires and Fears piled upon over the years. Agreed, most of the times this density is created by Total Vanity of the Mind - Am I looking Good, What will People say - things like that. But there are some genuine emotions - caring for your children, love for your profession. And any obstacles to these emotions can hurt and hurt very much. Giving up and letting Go of these deep emotions is easier said than done. Panache talks about how different yogis predicted his life work, SO he seems to have Grace of the Almighty and hence was able to let go Completely. People who get in contact with him make find temporary peace. But achieving ENLIGHTENMENT is totally different and cannot be obtained without the Grace of the Almighty.

One of the great thing about Bhagwan Sri Ramana Maharshi was that he tried his level best to make sure that no one considered him special or extra special. He repeatedly said what is possible for me is possible for everyone. Self is within everyone, in fact, Self is everyone and Self is the only guru. As long as people are led to believe that someone outside is special, extra special, an avatara or or a "god", their attention is turned external and not internal. With an the externally bent mind, people have greater likelihood of filling someone's else seminars, buying books and making someone else rich and very little likelihood of discovering their own true self. I am disappointed with the speaker. I hope his stories are not pure fabrication. I seriously hope it is not a true, real life case of Kumaré (www.imdb.com/title/tt1865425/). India has had many cases of immensely successful, yet completely fraudulent gurus like Sathya Sai Baba and Nirmal Baba. I hope we are not dealing with one more.

Alicea Saraswati To me, Panache came across as a salesman with "panache" :-) Kind of a salesman who could sell anything from a vacuum cleaner, cars, imitation goods to... ...self-help seminars and... ..."cure all" "miracle" "oil". I have seen these kind of salesmen in American TV infomercials and in India I have seen many such sellers on streets selling... ..."snake oil"... ..."cure for each and everything that ails you" :-) Even "snake oil"... ...does... ...benefit some people and it can certainly benefit the... ...seller... :-) Based on this interview, in his current form, I wouldn't recommend Panache as a spiritual teacher. I sincerely hope that Panache is not completely fake and I hope that he at least has 10-15% of real substance and only 85-90% is fake, made-up fluff. I also hope that with time he gets more sincere, truthful and honest and only "sells" the real stuff... ...especially... ...after he makes his first 5 millions dollars :-) Please reach 5 million fast (if you haven't already reached it), so that you don't need to "fake" it anymore :-) All the Best! Of course, I could be completely wrong, after all, I don't even know if I am an "Avatara", I might be, but, I don't know it :-) If my impression is completely wrong and if I am completely wrong about Panache that would make me very, very happy. The world and India has suffered a great deal in hands of fake teachers claiming to know and teach "truth". India, USA as well as the rest of the world has had its share of completely "fake" teachers each one misleading folks further. It would be great to not have one more in the list of fraudulent misleading teachers.

***** >>99% of all book sellers on this channel have been of the non-asian/african upper middle class caucasian persuasions Yes. There is something quite interesting going on. A lot of computer programmers are coming from India and a lot of (Neo) Advaita teachers are coming from USA. Even in American universities, many of science, engineering, medical students are of the Indian/Asian origin. The common "stereotype" would have predicted opposite to be the case. Perhaps, some balancing out is taking place.
@TransferOfAwakening10 жыл бұрын
TOA (Transmission of Awakening) Even this "I love you" and "Thank you for loving me" thing that he is "selling" is primarily a western/American obsession. This is the kind of "teaching" that seems to be in immense demand among mainstream western, american "spiritual" seekers. In most Indian spiritual settings, such remarks would seem downright childish, silly and immature... ...if not completely offensive, stupid and off-base. As far as the experience or knowledge of Advaita is concerned, there is no real "you" and "I" to love one another. What is left can be said to be... ..."love"... but... there is no "other". Keeping "I" and "you" intact... ...is still being deeply engrossed in duality, in the dream. It might sells books and seminars, it might even provide some temporary fake relief. Beyond that... ...it just leaves the same delusion firmly in place - the delusion of you and me.
@suzannegewehrperry18059 жыл бұрын
TOA (Transmission of Awakening) It seems you did not hear what he was saying at all, yet you have taken the time and energy to criticize that which you didn't listen to. Very interesting. And the word love makes you so uncomfortable, you have an adverse reacton. forget gettng caught up in these philosophical subtleties, and say "I am filled with devine love." 100 times, while hugging yourself.

I read the first 3 chapters on fear, sadness and anger. The underlying summing message in each of them is to allow this energy flow through your body and just observe it. He doesn't mention any action that needs to be taken to come to terms with this energy once and for all. He doesn't even mention Meditation Or Yoga which basically helps in self awareness of these energies. He talks about these energies as negative influences which have to be just shed off. But Fear can be good. It saves us from committing a crime Or thinking thoroughly before taking a rash decision and repent later. What about Genuine Anger? God Forbid But What if one of Panaches daughter gets killed by a rogue driver? Will panache just allow this anger just flow through his body and not do anything about it? Why are all the Interviewers not asking him pointed practical questions and not getting fooled by abstract impractical answers? Is his divine grace so strong that they loose themselves?

*Roughly a 3.2 on the -4 to +4 scale* _(for explanation and disclaimers please see the end of the comment)_ As usual my points have no connection with condoning an interviewee. Yet, this interview stands out for three reasons: 1. finally someone comes out to act as a good fit for Benjamin Creme's Maitreya prediction (last chance ! hehe) which he sort of confirms by denying it un-asked, as well as by alluding to some sort of lineage he thinks he is part of, plus to a huge role he claims in transforming the planet's history and confronting the powers that be. I think the magnitude of his claims are just worth a listen, a lot of fun. 2. He is predicting a one-moment spiritual transformation and a spiritual future here which gets some cosmology points 3. He is obviously coming out as a spiritual conspiracy theorist and tickles Rick's reluctance to be one (at least until he is as wealthy as Russell Brand when of course he will then claim to have always been a truther). And of course, Desai champions Russell Brand and therefore shows he is not really so critical after all. That guy calculatedly didn't come out with 9/11 truth stance until over a decade after it still made any difference, and long after he had already become rich by not saying anything. So why is Desai championing a rich system-suck-up who is so hopelessly behind the curve ? kzbin.infovideos I am off for holiday, hopping into the plane tomorrow. If all goes as planned, back in December. _About the rating: anything below and including +1 means by and large a waste of time, and anything below 0 is not only worthless but damaging to the world. For comparison, on that scale, Francis Bennett would be a +3 or more and Harri Aalto would be roughly a tentative +3-3.5. Not coming up with original, independent cosmological insights bans any interviewee from > 3.0 ratings as a matter of principle._ *General Disclaimer:* the rating _pertains to an interview, not to the interviewee_. If the rating is high it means merely and exclusively that I consider the interview to be of high value relative to the stated purpose of the channel, and that it is therefore no waste of time to listen to the interview. It would _not_ imply that whatever the interviewee speaks is the truth (as if I was the arbiter over that) or that you should follow him/her or accept whatever that person offers. _That is particularly in need of emphasis if that would be an expensive enterprise_ !

The real question to Panache would be "How should we raise over children right from the beginning so that they have minimal of Vibrational Density(VD) "? The Society today bombards with all types of amenities, luxuries, gadgets right from a toddler to the old age. There is competition everywhere from a very young age and kids learn to crush others to get ahead. Buddhist monks live a very frugal life away from mainstream lifestyle. Do they have minimal Vibrational density? Is that the way forward? How can one have minimal VD and still have a mainstream lifestyle? How is Panache raising his daughters from the start so that they don't get caught up in the VD game?

Great stuff, except I wouldn't call consciousness awakening 'immature species.' Although I totally understand what Panache means, immature implies there is a state of maturity somewhere out there. But in truth the whole point is that we already are ALREADY ARE mature, already are divinity perfectly unfolding. The quest to mature (to better ourselves...) implies a subtle condescension of sort, a judgement between one state and another, a state of being enlightened versus not. These are remnants of the old (often, religious) dogmas. Enlightenment is a progress, a process, ever unfolding, never ending. There is no end to that which we are, and awakening is conscious focus on the perfection which we already are, right now. Consciousness becoming aware of itself... unendingly.
at the GAS PUMP? People have got to stop stealing references from Richard Bachs book... "Illusions, tales of a reluctant messiah". Its already terrible that Dan Millman is completely ripping off Carlos Castaneda with his references and noone seems to notice, not only to meeting Socrates at a gas station, the mentor who is magical, but every concept beyond that. Can we move PAST the gas pump station? Perhaps go to grocery stores, maybe Starbucks?? How about Costco? lol!!! Anything but the overused gas station theme.

Rick is so condescending to his guests sometimes. It's almost like he nitpicks to compensate for his own shortcomings and lack of experience. Although this show used to be decent it has become just and old man trying to make a living through interviewing people with some understanding and filtering it through his very limited understanding. With his whole what level are you on don't get too high and mighty because I will feel insecure. If he would only learn and expand from his guests rather than trying to fit everything in to his limited perception it would be so much better.
