That runway is looooooong. Big US air force planes used it. Currently flights to DR, Costa Rica & Colombia. I love Panama Pacifico. I hope it keeps developing at a good pace.

When I worked there in the 90's, the mowing crews were known as the "Grass Ninjas". Those guys a manly men.

We used to fly Air Force AWACS and Tankers out of that airfield. Its got lots of runway.

Yep. Howard AFB used to get C-141s, C-130s and even C-5s. That was (still is) one big runway. If memory serves, it's still used for such aircraft if they are travelling into Panama, and the runway at Howard (Now Panama Pacifico) is the emergency runway for aircraft that can't land at Tocumen International.
