PANAMA First Impressions 🇵🇦 | Exploring the OLD and NEW | Travel VLOG

This is part 2 of our First Impressions in PANAMA! Today we're exploring the old and new town and showing Panama from a different perspective. Panama City, the capital of Panama, is a modern city framed by the Pacific Ocean and well known man-made Panama Canal.
Casco Viejo, its cobblestoned historic center, is famed for colonial-era landmarks like the neoclassical Palacio Presidencial and bougainvillea-filled plazas lined with cafes and bars. The Miraflores Locks offers views of ships traversing the canal, an essential shipping route linking the Atlantic and Pacific. Casco Viejo is the historic district of Panama City. Completed and settled in 1673, it was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panamá city, Panamá Viejo in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997.

Most of us, Black people, come from Barbados, Sta.Lucia and Jamaica..Other black people here, come from Africa as slaves.. So, we have inglish speaking from Caribe, and no inglish speaking from colonial slavery... So, you are a very, very brother of US.. 😊😊😊😊..

That's much of true. Here, on this blessed land, met three differents streams of africans slavery on America. Spanish, French and english slavery. And, on time we learned to respect us, to accept us and build a same people, along to other origin's panamanians. 👀👉🇵🇦

It is the rainy season over there right now ,how long were you there and on average how long did it rain each day you were there ,if you don't mind appreciate it and thanks for sharing video reason I am asking leaving this weekend for panama going to be there almost 3 weeks

@@danielb6411 to be honest it didn’t rain much while we were there, more 2-3 times a day and didn’t last for long. I would check the weather before you go just to be sure. Hope you have a great trip!
