Thanks for the clear explanation video. I have several CX350 camera's and wants to work with SRT. There is one thing that is not quite clear to me and that is, how do I receive the image? What software do I have to use to get the images in and get them into my Blackmagic ATEM switcher, for example.

Hi CSN media, thank you for finding the video! As for your question, if you want to receive/decode the SRT streaming with a software, I believe that the VLC Media Player can do it, for example. Then, outputting from the PC via HDMI and feeding to the ATEM switcher can achieve what you want. If you have a hardware receiver/decoder, e.g. Kiloview D300, the receiver can output the baseband signal and you can feed it to the ATEM switcher. I hope the above info will assist you.

Thank you it works very well but when I connect my 3 Panasonic AG-CX350 cameras to my vmix switcher in SRT client mode it seems that my switch and or my 1g network card does not provide. Should I change my network card and switch to 10g?

Hi Gstorm, thank you for finding the video! Although it depends on the bitrate of the SRT streaming, I think that 1G bps should be enough. The highest bitrate you can set for the CX350 SRT streaming is 75Mbps, so 75Mbps x 3 units = 225Mbps < 1G = 1000Mbps. The issue might be caused by something different reason.

Can this cam send SEI timecode via SRT so multiple of these can send SRT and be used at the receiving end to sync for multicam productions? I know that JVC cameras can. This is important because in my testing multiple cameras streaming via SRT can get very out of sync.

@SheaHarris Thank you for finding the video and your question! Unfortunately, the CX350 cannot send SEI timecode...That said, Panasonic PTZ cameras (AW-UE160, UE150, UE100, UR100, etc.) can send it via SRT!
