Panasonic CD Stereo system SA-AK177,.. F61 ERROR (SOLVED)

Common trouble of #F61 #ERROR is the Power Amplifier Section,.. But this time the problem is just the power supply connector lost contact,.. A quick fix is to direct solder the connector...

I did that, it worked for a whole day then turned itself off. When I tried it a 2nd time I got the "F61" error notice.

F61 error can be cause by faulty regulator IC. Shorting pcon to ground with a jumper will turn on the regulator board, you can then check the voltages listed on the main board. Mine was missing 9v for the cassette and 3.3v. The 9volts from the regulator chip was missing. I think the gf hit the tape button, cassette motors maybe seized, blew the 9v. Added a three terminal 9v regulator next to the main regulator to just supply the 9v. Cut the wire that supplies the 9v to the cassette and works like a charm. 3.3v came back with the 9 volts fixed, don’t use the cassette any more all good 👍

I have a Panasonic SA AK 75 with a 50+1 cd player; I went to turn the cd player on and all of a sudden it says ERROR. I doubt that it's the same problem. I went to school for this and was going to give it to my nephew because how loud it can go; but I can't fix it. Opened it up and the shuffle won't move and I attempted to put a cd in manually to no avail ( no cd's are in there)... don't know what to do

I was able to re-solder some connections on the power IC amp. Fortunately my panasonic sa vk550 back to life. But how to test if the cooler fan is defective. When i power on it didnt turn. Is this the main reason when the volume+ to i think 22db f61 appears again

I think the fan will turn on automatically if the temperature of the Audio IC or heatsink rises.

I'm getting the F61 error. It's the 2nd best system I've had. It turns on, it says welcome, but no sound, I switch to CD, Tape, nothing. It stays on for a bit, then the error pops up. I had CDs in the player, so I removed them before I may not be able to get them out. Is it worth getting fixed? Panasonic no longer makes this type.

F61 error message means Audio IC failure. Try to resolder the IC and audio section circuit.

Hello Brother, cd changer in my ak 88 does not respond. Whenever i turn it on it shows cd change to disc 1 but nothing happens. I have tried putting the ribbon onve again but no luck. Any idea what could be the reason?

Check the mechanical part, like gear or belt.

@@CABohol mechanical parts are ok, the problem is motor does not even give a try to move the changer. I have 3 systems of same model and all 3 have the same problem. I tried swapping the changers but no luck 😪

@@chakreshniit maybe the problem is the mainboard... Try to find a service manual of that model, some stereo system has a reset or factory settings function.

Ganito rin ang component ko 2001 pa binili til now ayos pa kaso nagjujump ang cd pag nagpapatugtog ano kya problema.

First try to reset Bro,.. Follow the manual for the procedure if the problem still exist check the electronic components and some cold solder joints. That error message means there's a problem with the audio IC or other electronic components, also check the fan if it's turning...

@@CABohol Just opened it and audio IC looks fine. I dont have the manual for reset instruction. I will take it to the servise. Im not compentent to try messing around with it any further. The CD changer is like half of complete stereo. Lol Btw, I dont see any fan inside..

Joints look ok, to me.. It happened when I accidentally pushed one more button while trying to switch to AUX from radio when I turned the system on. I might only need a reset, but dont know how exactly to do that..

Omg kuya ito po yung problema ng component namen, kapag pinakita ko po ito sa tech pisible po alam na nila ang gagawin? Baka lokohin na naman po kasi kami. Anu po ba sasabihin kapag dinala dun Hindi ko po kasi alam tawag sa ganyan sira eh, pero ganyan po lumalabas sa screen din ng component lalu kapag malakas na ang sound nag ooff po siya tas ganyan sa screen nakikita.
