Description: Some of you have been commenting on my videos even hitting me up on Instagram DM, asking for the current state of my Panasonic Envio model CS-C9PKP that I used to video at my old house right after replacing the Samsung TCL OEM model AR09KRFLAWNKN, and that was around 4 years ago from now. I've ever uploaded a Panasonic CS-C9PKP indoor unit back in 2021 (which has been sold), and some of you thought that was the same Panasonic CS-C9PKP as the one I videoed a few years back, but it's actually not. The unit that I uploaded back in 2021 was dated September 2013, while the unit that replaces a Samsung TCL OEM was dated a year later from the aforementioned unit, precisely September 2014. And now, what about the unit that you see on your screen now? Yep! This is the same Panasonic Envio model CS-C9PKP that used to be installed in my old house, I still have it to this day! When my family moved out of the house which has 3 Samsung TCL OEM(s) in it, my mom told me to take the Panasonic AC with us, but not for the Samsungs. That is because this AC was bought by my family (while the Samsungs were bought and installed by the previous homeowner), so my mom doesn't want to leave the Panasonic behind at the old house (and I feel grateful for that because I don't want to left it behind too as this was my very first Panasonic AC lol). When we stayed in the house that had a Niko decorative ceiling fan, this AC was stored for a year. And finally, in our current house, it's being used again as my bedroom AC! Now let's talk about the unit itself! From the latest video regarding this AC (which became extremely popular with a lot of views, WOW 😳), there've been some changes and updates to this unit. Yes, a huge restoration has been done to this unit. First, all the parts on this unit are been replaced (except for the main indoor computer unit and the indoor fan motor) due to the original ones were broken caused to a technician's negligence. And the most important update of this unit is, it now utilizes an R32 refrigerant!!! "Okay, but how did you turn it from R22 into R32? Is that even possible?". Aight aight, here's the story: Back in 2020 when a technician removed this AC from my old place, they accidentally broke the original casing/cover that originally came with it. I also began restoring some parts on this unit in the same year, such as replacing the full-set Nanoe-G purifier, fixing the seized fan motor's bearings, finding a spare casing and air swing for it, and fixing the cracked chassis. I also coated the condenser's U-bent part to prevent a refrigerant leak. In 2021, I grabbed a PN_RKJ/SKJ R32 evaporator part number for it since I've been wanting this AC to utilize R32 refrigerant for a long time. 1st step of restoration is finally done, and ready to be installed. But eventually, another technician's negligence happened again. Before it gets installed, the unit needs to be tested first since it hasn't been running for a year. My dad told me to test it with a technician, and the technician who was contacted by my dad to help install it did fatal carelessness while testing the unit. He utilizes a clogged and thin refrigerant line that results in a condenser refrigerant leak (previously there is no refrigerant leak at all). After that happened, he gave me a recommendation to trade my C9PKP outdoor unit with one of the units that he had in stock. For some reason, I don't want to trade it with another unit. So I requested him to just swap the condenser coil. Long short story, the replacement condenser coil is finally installed, and we finally tested installing and filling a refrigerant to it. Eventually, another disappointing thing happened. The technician who tested and installed it refused to do a vacuum installation as I requested before, and finally, the compressor clogged. That's how my C9PKP outdoor unit broke. Since the original CU-C9PKP outdoor unit couldn’t be fixed anymore, I decided to replace the outdoor unit with another Panasonic unit. Also at the same time, finally I can materialize my old dream, which is to do an R32 conversion to my C9PKP! I've been fantasizing about the original look of the outdoor unit with a square grille but with an R32 sticker, and of course, the internal components are also R32! Other than that, Panasonic condensing units with a square grille and an R32 sticker are officially only available in 2.0 hp (precisely CS-PN18RKP and CS-N18RKP). While the smaller capacities R32 all utilize round grille. So I think it would be interesting if I created one! The only way to materialize my fantasy is to get a CU-N9RKP outdoor unit, then take all the original CU-C9PKP parts and put all of them on the CU-N9RKP, and lastly stick an official Panasonic R32 sticker to it. And the final result is as you see in the video! I was very grateful that the result was way better than I expected, and this conversion project was also helped by @yosafattheairconditionerex6151/Yosafat theairconditionerexpert, so big thanks and shoutout to him! Lastly, you may realize that the front panel was a bit different. Well, yes, I take a CS-PN_RKJ/SKJ front panel to make it look like the Malaysian CS-C_QKH! This unit of course has been vacuumed during the installation, and the pipe has been flushed too so the R32 fluid wouldn't be mixed with the leftover R22 fluid in the refrigerant pipe.

15:34 Nice thermo gun! But sadly i found an information that this thermo gun has a low accuracy, lucky the price is not that expensive! If you want the thermo gun that has higher accuracy but with a cheap price, you would use TEKIRO brand, it has more accuracy and longer distance temperature measurements! Your thermo gun is a BENETECH brand, model GM320, and this thermo gun is actually recommended even with a low accuracy, and i always dreamed about the TEKIRO thermo gun and i want to have it as soon as possible!
@TheeXtremeFanEnthusiast2 ай бұрын
i know right, it's not an accurate thermo gun. i'm buying this because i don't have enough money to get the thermo gun with a better accuracy. but i'll get the higher accuracy thermo gun as soon as possible and interested in looking for the TEKIRO brand! thanks for the recommendation!

Bro, I have a question. Is Panasonic a good choice for bedrooms? I will buy a Panasonic for my parent's bedroom, so I need to be sure that these 9000 btu models are quiet.
@TheeXtremeFanEnthusiast7 ай бұрын
hello, thank you for the question. actually, any AC brands are suitable and good for bedrooms as long as they’re quiet, efficient enough, and of course reliable! there are some other AC brands that also runs quietly, so it’s not just specific to Panasonic. so it’s back to yourself again, which brand that you’re more comfortable with. if you’re felt comfortable with Panasonic, then go ahead with it!

but i only have one suggestion. do not get Thailand made Sharp non-inverters, especially the Garuda AH-A_BEY series because they’re noisy as hell and yet the coldness isn’t surprising at all
