It’s too bad Panasonic doesn’t sell TVs in the US & I wonder why? I had 32” Panasonic CRT at one time with a great picture. One unusual thing about its picture in a picture feature was being able to watch one channel with sound thru the TV’s speakers while a 2nd viewer could use head phones to hear the dialogue from the 2nd channel.

Panasonic used to be good but have lost their way a bit in Europe recently. I’d say Sharp (now back under part Japanese ownership) might be a better bet in the US… and definitely the Chinese Hisense, who are really innovating right now (especially on high end models). Sony is still good, but expensive.

Panasonic pulled out of the US market because US consumers don’t want to pay the premium for out of the box color accurate oleds. US consumers want cheap TVs like Vizio. In addition to high tv competition, high cost of servicing tv warranty, and tarrifs it just made financial sense to pull out of the US market

Not gonna get an answer i doubt but worth a go. Panasonic TX-40MS360B Can i turn the picture off from the screen and just have the sound playing. So i listen to the radio or a podcast through my TV, i dont want a picture on the screen ..Are they able to make the screen go black. Its called energy saving button

NOW they bring out FALD and Mini LED, after I've already purchased the JX940 with its dodgy panel. I didnt want to wait another year as the UK didn't seem to be getting anymore of the upper tier LED's.

@@hastensavoir7782 tbh I’m not sure about A80K. I’ve tested the A90J, one thing I can say is that with the Sony master series oleds, it’s like the picture mode is in dynamic but you can change the colour temperature to your liking. Wasn’t like that before since game mode for Sonys wasn’t the brightest but, looks like they’ve found a solution. The Panasonic model I have, has dolby vision bright, and dolby vision vivid which is even brighter when using movie apps.
