Panasonic G90. Using the pre-installed V-LOG L for video, how good is it?

The title says it all, I use the V-Log L profile to find out if it is as good as Panasonic say.

I bought the Leeming luts as I got the V log L upgrade for my G9 and it looks so much better than the Panasonic version! As a plus I can view what it will look like in camera :) You can use the zebras at 75% to get your exposure more easily for cameras without.

As the end editor and post producer, I have only bitter contempt for 8bit vlog files. Lazy or hurried camerawork ends up in my computer, and the excuse is "hey, it's vlog, i know you can fix light and color and stuff no problem". I'm not the best color grader in the world by far, but no matter what, a h.264 8bit file is going to show artifacts when you try an intense color grade.
