I had visited Luang Prabang, LAO, during Songkran Festival on April 12-15, 2014. I had brought with me Panasonic GH4 firmware version 0.4 to shoot stock footage of the festival. Because I have a project to shoot a TV series in Luang Prabang soon. So it was a great time to shot and test this camera. Because I intend to shoot this series with GH4 in 4K.
I shot footage mostly in 4K 3840x2160 25p, and shot some slow motion of water splashing at 96fps in 1920x1080 25p.
I had with me 3 SD cards, 2 of Panasonic SDXC MicroP2 64Gig cards and a Panasonic SDXC 32Gig UHS1 Class3.
I used CineLike-D profile with Contrast -5, Highlight -4, Shadow +4.
I brought with me only 3 lens, Tamron 17-50 F2.8 Nikon F mouth, Tokina 11-16 F2.8 Nikon F mouth and Nikon zoom 50-135 F3.5. I used Metabone Speedbooster Nikon to Micro4/3 mouth.
The Speedbooster was incredible in quality.
Edited natively in 4K 3840x2160 25p with Premiere Pro CC and had some colour corrected with Filmconvert Pro2. I exported to h.264 file which was quite compressed for KZbin. I could not render other high quality file like ProRes 422 4K, because the file was so huge and it could not be uploaded.
