@shangsphere thats the lens, if the camcorder is turned off, then you can hear that weird sound, but if you turn it on, and shake it, then its gone, this problem is also described in the manuell, under the point troubleshooting, at site 126 in my manuell, ...so thats normal, and my sd600 makes that sound too..so no need to worry

@bulldozerHW - no, you cannot add another microphone to this camera. But the TM700 which costs about $250 more, has a microphone jack, viewfinder, 32GB internal memory, and manual adjustment ring, otherwise both cameras produce exactly the same video 1080p60 (orp p50 in PAL version). Same lens and internals for both.

@AlfredoSkates yes, its gonna work on all computers, dell its just like a HP. but HP got their design and their chossed specs. so yes, if you have computer thats then intel pentium 4 2.0 GHz with 1GB ram. (i think, but i reccomend intel core 2 duo or higher with 2 GB ram or higher. and make sure that your graphics card its pretty good, if you have a bad (A really bad) graphics card, it gonna lag in Full-HD movies.)

At 4:14 there's that distinctive "turquoise colored sky", from another Panasonic camcorder... I wish they would eventually fix that issue! I don't know...maybe engineers at Panasonic see this as blue ? I sure don't. Luckily, there is a workaround if the camcorder has a manual mode, to get a real true blue sky ...I have the American TM700 model.

Just received my SD600. Everything looks fine except one thing. When I shake (gently, of course) the camcorder, it sounds like there is something inside the camcorder which is not attached to anything (sounds like there's a small, unattached screw inside the camcorder floating around). I'm not sure if this happens to all SD600 or just this one. SD600 owners please give me some input, help me decide if I need to return it or not. Thanks a lot.

How many FPS is this? And how is the motion-capture on it? I mean, can it handle to record a clip with a lot of motion going on? (Without decreasing the quality/making too much motion blur)
