That rode mic is awesome. I get some of the best audio from mine. I've been looking at the camera for a while. Used I can get it for $515 and some change.

Thanks im glade i helped you! yeah it all depends on what you want to do. you can get better results from DSLRs for sure if your willing to work around there problems but its also nice to just be able to turn in the camera and shoot with out having to set a ton of stuff up in the camera like you can on a camcorder. I shot this video with the canon t3i its a great camera! but its a dslr and has its problems for sure.

Great video man, waiting on mine for some cheap fun playing with 3D, but great to see how shallow the depth of field can get. Lens is supposed to be f1.4 which probably explains it. What's your wide angle lens attachment?

yes u can but u need ether some tape haha or a gopro tripod mount witch i think are about 20 dollars
