When I saw the vga port and removable battery I thought you were doing a retro review - showing your favourite laptop from a decade ago. Blew my mind that this is from this year. I’m really digging the design. I’m so sick of the current form factor - forget the thin and light, give us usable ports! And I love the 3:2 screen, it’s great for productivity and something I look for. But I have to agree with another commenter about the trackpad. That circular design isn’t very intuitive for me - a regular rectangular one would be far more relatable. Corner of trackpad equals corner of display. Kudos for being different though. Are the innards upgradable? I didn’t catch that if it was mentioned in the vid. Most business laptops used to be easily upgradable/repairable, to keep the IT guys happy. But that practical feature seems to have died out among the other makers.

Let's Note is the best office business laptop, it's more practical and durable than other mainstream brand thin and light laptops now. Some people don't like it because they think it looks too old-fashioned and has low configuration, but I like it very much. Its sturdiness, battery life and low failure rate are irreplaceable. I recommend it to real business people and enterprises instead of mainstream brand garbage.

would be interested with lunar lake (56wh with 13th gen isn't enough) and without the unpractical circular touchpad (impossible to do Windows gestures)

This is a solid enterprise device, but it offers poor value and limited appeal to consumers. The main reason it is priced at £1900 in the UK is that it features an outdated 13th-generation chip with an Iris CE integrated GPU, missing out on the latest Intel efficiency and upgraded graphics options. While this may not be as critical for business tasks, there are better alternatives available in the ultrabook market for a much lower price. But some may prefer to pay the surcharge to get the ruggedness and old-style IO and removable battery. The latter may be needed as new chips will probably last twice as long out and about.

Looks like a regular laptop more than a rugged one and so far a regular laptop can't handle a minor drop from a few CMS, nice review my Friend

Not sure about FV4 as it’s weakening some old durability designs like the bonnet shaped lid. Older models could take a punch like a 75cm fall but definitely not at the ToughBook level.

Where can I buy the FV4? I tried Panasonic US but I need to be a part of a US business to get one

At this time it seems only available for business, hope they make it available for the public soon.

You can get from their authorized reseller like PC connection, provantage and ruggedbooks, they all have different offer though, call them to make sure final price. I got the best quote was about 1881 pretax. But you need to upgrade something yourself as they sports a PM991a SSD which is quite slow by today's standard and about 2000USD level. A 990Pro or P31Gold(for best efficiency) will be better. Good luck

is the screen 60hz?

Only complain is I have no idea why they used 1370P with a single thermal pipe. lol, if it is a 1365U, I will just buy it.😂

For its size that should have a dedicated GPU. And the touchpad is stupid.

its suposed to be a center for connectivaty. and companies this is a simple solution for field workers and people that travel. Being that general consumers are not the true target it hard to justify it for us

A dedicated gpu is a bit much for a laptop of this size and purpose. But I gotta agree on the trackpad - I’m not a fan of that circular design.

@orangefox0052 the sort of people who say that live a life where it's always about them. So go look in the mirror.
