Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ90 zoom switch repair

I just needed confirmation of how to remove the back panel. I didn't want break anything and your video helped a lot, thank you. I have a few Lumix TZ cameras, and all but my TZ100 have had the zoom control issue, which all been fixed by myself. The rear rotary controller can also not work properly. Both my TZ70 and TZ90 had this issue, but again a simple fix of contact cleaner. Once working properly, these Lumix cameras are great. Once again, great video.

Sir, Is that what you meant? kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnnCoqinn7t1n9E Unfortunately, with the TZ90 you have to remove the entire tube that covers the shutter (visor). I haven't taken this camera apart that far yet.

Hello, what is the name of the product that you spray ? I will try it on my Lumix TZ35 (I cant adjust the zoom….)

Hello, I used CRC Oxid clean and protect PRO spray, but you can use any contact cleaner which proper for potentiometer. It is important that there is some lubricant in it so that the zoom lever rotates more easily and the contacts do not wear out.
