Thanks very much, my old camera had an external port but the mic I bought for it didn't work with it! Apparently something interfered with it on the camera itself. I might try using it with this one and just connect it to my phone to record :)

Graham Houghton KZbin channel is mostly dedicated to Panasonic Lumix cameras. But most of the functions are the same with any similar camera. Maybe a different button here or there. Since your camera doesn't have a touchscreen I would recommend watching his videos on the FZ70 and FZ200. He is an excellent teacher.

The pictures are what you would expect from any cheap digital camera from the last 10 years pretty much. Considering the price on eBay for a pre-owned one is half the original MSRP I say it's absolutely worth it, though.

Your right about the noise but that noise can be removed using Freemake Video Converter as you can convert the Video File without Audi0, thus eliminating the Noise of the Zoom lens. There's are workarounds to the fixed display as you can purchase an External Camera Monitor which plugs into Hotshoe via USB Port and as for External Mic Input, have you ever considered a Wireless Camera Microphone which just plugs into the Hotshoe?
@Del-Canada2 жыл бұрын
The ability to select an image from the 4K video is handy though. It saves you from needing to import the video and having to do it via post editing. You can do it right on the camera and then send the image to wherever from there. So yea, it isn't that much of a gimmick. It's kind of practical.
@daktarioskarvannederhosen2568 Жыл бұрын
also, perhaps the shutter- button-pressed stills might somehow be being captured via mechanical, as opposed to rolling, shutter -this being, for obvious reasons, highly beneficial.

@TheCRTProductions4 жыл бұрын
Like I said in the video, full auto settings aren’t bad, for a really good 4K video you will need lots of lighting though. Turning the exposure down will cut down on the grain some, which is pretty obvious if you are shooting in less than optimal conditions.

Never buy third party “protection plans” when you buy electronics online, it’s a huge ripoff. If you buy things new 99% of the time the manufacturer is already going to provide a warranty. I don’t know the situation with Panasonic specifically.

I think, the main idea on a music video is, to produce a good sound. The FZ80 does not have a connector for an external microfone. The FZ80 only can recording over the internal Electret micro (Sound is not really bad) . I would prefer, using a external sound recorder.

It's easy to criticise but if your going to do a bridge camera test, for F's sake choose some interesting material to demonstrate the visuals. Poor attention to the basics means your review is potentially lazy and thus unreliable.
@TheCRTProductions4 жыл бұрын
It is definitely better than a camera phone, but 4K is basically useless. It’s grainy in anything other than optimal light. You also have no image stabilization in 4K. For 1080p60 it is decent but I would get something else. I’ll be making an update to this video before I sell mine
@williamoneill54984 жыл бұрын
@@TheCRTProductions If you know what your doing you can get excellent results from FZ80/82. Its like loading up a super 16 camera with the wrong film stock for the lighting conditions and then saying you couldn't pull out a good print so the Arri you were using must be a shit camera, ill leave it in its box. Thats whats wrong with most of todays photographers/videographers, you all have it so easy you expect to point and shoot and get the goods. The amateur settings on the FZ82 are set for the clueless to get decent results most of the time. Put it in the hands of somebody who knows what they are doing and you can get exceptional results and way above the price point of a mass produced consumer camera that costs peanuts compared to top line pro kit. Just my opinion and I am not passing dispersions on anybody either. Live and learn........
@TheCRTProductions4 жыл бұрын
Well that proves that you didn’t watch a second of my video as I explain pretty early on that I would focus on video recording capabilities.
@TheCRTProductions4 жыл бұрын
Also, I think the reason why Panasonic themselves call this a "point-and-shoot" camera is because it is meant to be a simple to use point and shoot solution for the consumer that wants more than a pocket P&S or their phone. This camera has full manual controls for those very few who will use them, but really if you're using this to set up shots in full manual wouldn't you be better off getting a Rebel? And by giving it 4K (and 60x zoom) most are probably going to be getting it for video anyway.
