Man when I was watching this footage I thought it was a hi 8 camera but it was actual VHS which is awesome because I have a video 8 camera from 1995 called the Sony CCD TR64 which is my favorite VHS camera and my Panasonic PV420 from 1989 and I think you used a software called VirtualDub2 to upscale the footage which makes the quality better

I have the AG456 (MS5 in your region). Since mine was manufactured in 1998, there was no capacitor issues although I haven't used it in well over a year or 2 because of battery/tape drive issues. I tried that lead-acid battery watering trick but the only tape I had was not strong enough to hold the battery together after ripping it apart to re-fill its lead-acid holes with distilled water. The battery was leaky. Fortunately, the camcorder remains undamaged because the water luckily did not touch the battery terminal.

i got a new ni-mh with it, sure it doesn't offer the same autonomy as lead-acid but that still enough for casual use.
