Billy originally came from England and formed the band GENERATION X. After GEN X split up in 1981, Billy came to America and In NY, he met Steve who became the guitarist for Billy's solo career. So they became collaborators and friends at that point.

This guy actually did a fullblown tour with Bryan Adams in 2019,just before the whole world became isolated. My Grandpa at his age,preferd to sit in a stressless chair and watch the news Okay,my Grandpa could never sit still so he would find something to fix or make,as he never really came over retiring from his handyman/carpenter profession days. But he still got tired quickly in his upper 60s. And here this guy is still going on hour long tours,shaking his thang and dingelings.What im trying to say is........im impressed! Can you believe this guy once said to the public,that he was painfully shy,and i believe there might have been some stage fear also included. I could have never guessed watching him being all confident on stage theese days. But its a beautiful thing,to see people being able to come out of theyr shells,especially if it held them back as much as in many cases. It requires alot of work,luckily Billy said that his escapee was when he heard the music starting to play,he simply entered a different world then. I might have even said this before,im not sure. I have written 2 handfulls of comments to reactors diving into Billy Idols rabbit hole over the past months. My favourite song is still Shock To The System,its like Billys own "Robocop meets Terminator" song. After that song,i dont know who i like more out of Eyes Without A Face and Flesh For Fantasy. If we compare music videos it might get even hotter *Ahem* i meant more difficult,and might add White Wedding then too,and Hot In The City
