Panchalingeswar to Kolkata Bike Ride via Arambagh

The last day of our weekend bike trip to Odisha and we will return to Kolkata from Panchalingeswar (Balasore district). But before leaving we paid an early morning visit to Panchalingeswar temple at a distance of around 1.5 km from our hotel Gurushakti Lodge. The temple area has now been decorated and maintained, but lost its former simplicity and charm. The hilly trails behind the temple is blocked, so one can go any further. This disappointed me. As we were about to start for Kolkata we found in internet some road blocks between Kolaghat to Uluberia, which made us change the route plan. Instead of taking the Kolaghat bound road from Kharagpur, we decided to turn towards Medinipur from Kharagpur and return via Arambagh. It costed us few extra hours but the journey was trouble free.
