Now that you’re gone, my heart goes out to Matthew. I have been where you are now, Matthew, as my husband passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2012 six months after diagnosis, which was stage 4 with no hope for surgery. We had 20 years together and to this day, there is no moment when I don’t miss him. Time will make it easier, but the profound loss is always there. I am blessed by having our oldest daughter look so much like him, so get to see glimpses of him in her.

I'm just discovering you, and I'm heartbroken that you are already gone. I actually started watching you from your last video and have now begun watching from the beginning. You are/were an amazing person. You were failed by so many people. People who were trained and paid to take care of you really let you down. You were very gracious to call those people kind. I refuse to go to a doctor for any reason anymore. They just collect their money and brush us off. You deserved better. We all do. I know you are now pain-free. I mean, if these doctors can't come up with stuff to cure us, at least give us something to control our pain and suffering so we can manage some sort of existence while living out our final days. You were a very strong woman. Rest in perfect peace. 🕊🤍🙏

I saw her last video too. I paused it about a minute in so I could watch them from the beginning. 😢

I’m one of the best phlebotomists ever and when I run across patients who are hard to get… I have them drink as much water they can handle… have them wear sweaters and blankets to keep them warm and then I hot pack hands with very warm towels 20 minutes before I even try to find a good vein… When they need a bigger iv for blood products or viscous medicine takes large needles… So whenever I find a “Good one” like the wrist area above the thumb is a great place for an IV.. so I get the IV into the vein I can draw out energy blood to run as many test possible except for heavy metals testing and then I flush it with saline solution until they taste it to make sure its a great spot for their main IV and if they need a 2nd IV I always wait until the patient has had at least one bag of fluids and are kept warm so I can put in their 2nd IV unless they’re under anesthesia or sedated enough to be relaxed and not care about getting poked.. And YES the stuff used to sedate you…the WHITE STUFF…Profofal like Michael Jackson was murdered with and given to make him sleep burns like crazy unless you have a very caring doctor who adds numbing agent to it so doesn’t hurt for the 20 seconds it takes to knock you out… yes its painful but I usually don’t ask for it bcuz its one more thing that can cause reactions to,… Ive had it more than 50X bcuz of my having Crohn’s disease and colonoscopy far too often! Ugggg!
