Read a mediocre review of his new album so was worried when I hear it. But I loved it, and it's a grower- more vocal with supporting electronica rather than the sounds taking centre stage around the voice. It's as if he trusted his vocal this time, and quite right too

Yeah, like when says that he hopes the interviewer still likes his stuff after the show. I think it goes with the backlash topic later on in the interview. His albums are always compared to Person Pitch. Personally, I think Buoys is great, but it seems like more people prefer Avey's album.
