Quick Update: Corydoras Panda has now been reclassified as Hoplisoma Panda. Please disregard the mistake I made at the beginning of the video. Thanks for your understanding!

I've got a group of bandit cory's. They're similar but their pattern is a bit different. They're so much fun to watch! And quite ok to keep with shrimp. I quarantined mine with the Blue Dreams I got the same way (the shrimp were staying in there), fed them well and they've left some eggs in there! So a while later, their number doubled! ;)

Love my panda Cory’s! One think I did not know when I got them - when kept in dark substrate (black sand), their color is more muddy and there is not as much contrast between light and dark parts in their body. I think they look way better in light substrate (not my case).

For a dark substrate, I think I'll go with Albino Corys although I do currently have Pygmy Corys on the same type. I do agree that Pandas look a lot nicer on the light substrate.

@ I have seen pictures of albino Pygmy Cory’s and I know I will have to get myself some in the near future. Also saw some albino laser Cory’s and they looked amazing. They are on my Santa’s list.

Going to check your other videos. But saw you comment about RRF plant. What light settings do you keep to get the red color? I personally don't have Pandas, but I do have Albino and Pepper Cory's! Cory's are fun to watch

I'm planning on getting Albino Corys for one of my other tank builds. As for Red Root Floaters, I have a Hygger HG-978 light. It's just on the default settings but what truly makes them red is starving them of nitrates. I use APT 1 liquid fertilizer which contains trace amounts of Nitrogen and Nitrate and because the plants don't get enough of these, they start turning red. Now, I'm growing them in a separate plant only tank for this specific purpose. In my regular aquariums, the leaves will be greenish in tone with some red tones to the roots since the fish waste, breaking down of food and dead plant matter will help fuel these plants. They also propagate faster when their green. When they are that reddish tone, they propagate more slowly.

@shrimplycanadian I have a Fluval plant 3.0 Settings wise for my 60gal "breeder" the settings are 80% Pink, 0% Blue, 60% Cold White, 70% Pure White, 65% Cool White. And agreed they do propagate like crazy when they're green! Some are a reddish hue, been trying to get them to darken up.
