I was a CHICAGO D since 87 and later I lived in Jamaica Queens from 91 to 94. I obviously didn't get down with Ks but that stuff you had going on in NY was different than Chicago. I think a lot of them didn't get the real knowledge. We had dudes going to FL trying to start it up in Florida in the early 90s and we had to head there and squash that. They weren't enlightened they was on some other shit. l respect this dude for making it thru the wars of our youth and moving on like me. 🔱 👑

I remember. being little as 7-8 years old and my grandma taking me to the PR rican parade by Fordham . actually is today LOL. and I would see the latin kings come with black and gold and I would ask her what is that. and she told me its a huge group and I remembere the unity and the colors and the crown and everybody being together mad loud. at the time to terror squad album was out and I used to always wear a black bandanna on grand concourse. was 10 year old going crazy curios. and i didn't understand at the time, what gangs were and I always looked at it differently. but drugs and are one thing to get involved and big groups is another. I always looked at it like a fam because who I had no one to turn to. ppl show me love cook for me and give me place to stay . really latinos look out for each other. I don't think other color/gangs can say the same . it's hard to understand. and u have to grown up in environments to understand .
