It is very important for Indian railways to increase three tier coaches in premium and most preferred trains. Three tiers are the only profitable coaches in India. So it's justiable to have good number of three tier coaches! Also an engine cannot pull so many no of coaches and also maintain high speed, that is probably the only reason to have only 7 sleeper coaches.

Theni train is express train only by name. It does not have a/c coaches. They can run a link express as with Nagercoil/Tuticorin- coimbatore express . Half the train from Tuticorin is joined at Maniyachi junction with the train coming from Nagercoil. A superfast train leaving Nagercoil at 4.45am reaching Madurai around 8.0’clock can be linked with the other half from Theni and reaching Chennai by 2.30 pm.The Nagercoil - Chennai express rake can be used to take the train from Chennai around 1. O’ clock from Chennai in the reverse direction so that people from Nagercoil also can reach home before 10.30pm. The other half for Theni would also reach the destination before 9.30pm. It will greatly reduce the road transport resulting in reduction in pollution by road transport vehicles, and accidents. The Hon’ble CM should take up this to realize his goal of saving human lives.
