Perfect diction, clarity in sur (musical notes) and gayaki (creative musical progression), command over all aspects of laya and rhythm, and an unmistakable interplay between notes and words to evoke the desired mood and emotions have created the hallmark of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty's music.
The night’s curtain fall with amazing Khayal rendition by Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. He performed Raga Bilaskhani Todi. He also performed Raga Kuntalavarali. He finished his rendition with a Bhajan in Raga Bhairavi. Soumen Sarkar was on tabla with him, while Ajoy Joglekar was on harmonium and Abhijit Kundu on tanpura. Deborshee Bhattacharjee accompanied Pt Ajoy Chakrabarty during the entire event.
