My most favourite Raag Yaman janyam of 1st Kalyaan THAAT தாட் ताट। Corresponding CARNATIC Raagam is Melakarta Number 65 Mecha Kalyani. Excellent performance of Pundit Shiv Kumar Sharma ji takes the listeners to a different unimaginable music world which fully covered with divine vibrations. Sai RAM

Watched them play live at Tagore theatre Chandigarh during the nineties. The audience kept on clapping for at least 2 to 3 minutes regularly. These two maestros were standing and bowing towards to audience. I will never forget that concert whole my life. Shafaat Ji alongside Pawan Kumar Sharma Ji was a massive loss to tabla and music in North India which could never be filled. Thanks for uploading.
