I knew that Pandit Ji got countrywide recognition very late. But, still, it makes me sad that his international debut was only in 2010. I heard his name from a baithak session of Pandit Arvind Parikh (who lamented Kumar's late recognition) and since then Pandit Kumar is one of my beloved artists. We can easily keep him in the league of Ustad Rashid Khan and the like.
