I am not even going to lie. This is without one of my top 3 favorite themes of all time and even to this day I still sing this song in the shower from time to time. This theme here kicked major ass. Such a shame that this mans carrer had to end so suddently. He was at the top of his game, he was the Real World Champion (in my eyes the man with the Big Gold Belt was the man) and in one fail swoop in Japan against Sting, he took a bad bump on the corner of the elevated ring. I guess it was made of wood, but he hit it wrong. I think in my eyes that if this had not happened he would have returned to the WWF as a wrestler and he and Shawn Michaels would have had one of the greatest feuds of all time for the WWF title. Just imagne the back and forth with him and Shawn. Shawn thinking he is the sexiest and Rude thinking the same. It would have made for some entertaining promos and excellent matches. Hell Rude and Bret Hart too would have tore it down. Such a shame.

Just a dam shame Vince McMahon did not put the WWE World Title on him. He was an awesome heel and would of made an awesome WWF World Champion in 1991 had he stayed Warrior should of dropped the strap to Rude at the Royal Rumble 91 then Rude vs Hogan @ WrestleMania VII in Los Angeles for the WWF World Title had he stayed in the WWF and not left for WCW in late 1990. Slaughter was a crappy champion. It's a joke guys like The Miz, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio & JBL all got runs with the WWE Title and Rude didn't. None of those guys could lace Rick Rude's boots.

Shawn I agree with all....- the Miz. The guy gets hated on but has been one of the most consistent heels right now. I think he deserved the strap...now Sheamus, A. Del Rio and JBL...yea jokes. Hell, Jericho should have won the rumble, not Sheamus. Think about this....Piper, Perfect, Million Dollar Man, and Rude ALL never had a WWF title run. Mr Perfect imho is the biggest wasted option. Id still made Yoko a monster. Had him beat the natural disasters 2 on 1 at WM. Had Lex have a jobber WM match. Virgil, Hacksaw, Tito Santana, someone like that. Give Perfect the strap. He'd been amazing NOW RUDE...yea, Slaughter sucked. BUT he got heat. Apparently he was scared he could have gotten shot at WM7 and they elevated security. Hogan V Rude at WM7...amazing...but Rude going over Hogan, LOLOLOL, While I agree it been better, we both know Hogan wouldnt have jobbed. NOW SHAWN V RUDE...WOW. Think we had a small heel v heel feud with Martel V Shawn Rude V Shawn would have been even more elevated. It's sad what happened with Sting. What a fn shame. Shawn and Rude would have been fn amazing. Rude would have played the heel, Shawn the face though. We rarely get long legit heel v heel feuds. But man that been fn amazing. I always wish Perfect never left the WWF either, Austin had really nothing to feud with in the attitude era. Bret went to WcW. Shawn "hung his ball up" again. Mick Foley, HHH, and the Rock just werent "there" yet. Kane while good imho always was like IC title material. Undertaker was really all there was. Now imagine Perfect staying, getting that title run against Bret at WM9, it been a good program. Austin V Perfect...Perfect being Vince's "guy.' (Again Foley being Vince's guy, we all knew Foley was taking the strap off Austin). Perfect would have been a legit contender. Also a shame Shawn pulled his bs and left. The "new" DX with Shawn, HHH, Xpac, New Age Outlaws, and Chyna. That's a legit stable. Shawn WWE material At the time, HHH IC material XPac European champ material NAO being tag title contenders. Chyna being womens champ. (Was the Hardcore title around?) But DX could have owned it all. Shawn with the big strap, HHH IC strap, XPac european strap, NAO tag straps and Chyna the womens strap. So much potential we never got. Ok sorry for my long rant, I used to be a big wrestling fan and lost interest around 2003ish. Good old days, as you guys can see, I can go on forever. Apologize for my short story, lol. Also...this theme song is fn amazing. This, Chris Jerichos, DX, the Miz, Demolition, Akeem-Bossman (Soul Brother), The Rocks 5thish theme (didnt get used long enough imo)....probably my 7 favorite themes of all time.
