John Leybert Aurestila with all due respect I agree with you in some respects and some not. From experience I am an older male and have witnessed a few items related to success.. 1.) opportunity, sometimes opportunity is not created sometimes it is found right in front of our feet.. Elon's nice break was that the internet was young and opportunities abound.. The invention of the internet doesn't happen everyday.. What was admirable was that he had the foresight and drive to make something of it.. Very rich people have this in common examples are Jp Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs etc. - emerging technology and a huge opportunity (transportation, steel, home computers respectively).. Of course these gentlemen made every effort to capitalize on their luck and this is admirable.. What was in the back of my mind was this - it would be nice if those that needed a boost received it.. Whether or not you like it-Elon might not have made it big if he had not encountered the internet, which was attributed to his year of birth and the progress of man.. the other things he created came downstream and as a result of this initial success.. I am all for the expansion of man's intelligence and feel it should be nurtured and assisted.. It is important enough to us all that we should not hope by chance someone encounters a genuine stroke of good luck - and then that he capitalizes on it.. I am not taking away from Elon as I think he is a grand example of us.. I would like to have more of him.. An outlier ? Not likely there are more in the crowd like this if we listen closely.. Remove any barriers ( like blind ass luck, being born at the right time) then you might find a few more in the fray. fire away I enjoy debate.
@jlaure21806 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you sir but dont you think people then was thinking the same way youre thinking right now sir? Nobody thought then that internet would be a big opportunity in the future, but gentlemen like bill elon mark et al. thought of it, they made their own opportunities. In my opinion they may even made the internet what it is right now. Maybe people that youve said that are like elon can find their own opportunities like he did but if you think through it sir opportunities now and then is pretty much the same maybe we just have to look for it like they did. Hahah i also enjoy debate too sir but i think i still need experience

@waxogen2 жыл бұрын
waxogen 2 weeks ago FORMULATED MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX WILL CAPTURE CARBON The heat loss from a smokestack can be forced into a large tank containing hot liquid microcrystalline petroleum wax. The heat will keep the wax at a molten state which facilitate the carbon to be absorbed when combined with the wax. Carbon when mixed with wax reacts like a dye. The wax-carbon amalgamation resulting in a black wax solution thereby making it impossible for the carbon to escape into the environment while in a liquid state. Other toxic particles are also captured in the wax settling at the bottom of the tank forming into a sludge. A sludge release valve is located at the bottom of the tank. After the sludge is removed more wax is replaced in the tank working something like a toilet. The sludge becomes a byproduct that can be used as an additive to asphalt for roads or used for cocooning nuclear waste materials for long-term safe burial. The entropy of the Earth has been increasing at a startling rate since the beginning of the industrial revolution caused mainly by the carbon that is released into the atmosphere. Government scientists have failed to stop and prevent carbon pollution from entering the environment. This problem can only worsen until a solution is found before this problem becomes irreversible. It has been discovered that formulated wax has been shown to be the only answer to this problem. William Nelson waxogen@gmail.com

I can’t get enough of Elon. I’ve watched every video I can with him in it. I really like the Rapport he has with her. You can tell he can be himself. I’m sure I’m opening the Pandora’s box for both positive and negative replies to this comment, and to save a few naysayers yes I do have a man crush and yes would run away with him if I could!! Hahah but seriously my wife fully supports my Musk obsession and we need more people like him that have such vision, passion, humility that are emotionally driven. My favorite moments are when you see how real he is by getting choked up. Would give anything for an opportunity to meet him
@AdariousMistdancer6 жыл бұрын
Yeah and it really gets old seeing those comments about 'taxpayers' footing the bill (which usually come from deadhead liberals). Elon has re-ignited passion for space and what is to come for a whole lot of people. If it takes him a bit longer than he anticipates then so be it (but you notice there's plenty of people willing to pounce on him when it does). Let's see any one of these idiots do a tiny fraction of what he has accomplished. Oh and about those 'taxes', people would be paying them regardless..just not for the same things. I can think of a lot less noteworthy places those 'taxes' go to. I agree, I'd love to even see a launch in person, much less meet him. There are entirely too few people like this anymore. Most people with the financial capitol he has have little to no interest in investing it in to any of the places he does. Notice that since the inception of SpaceX, other companies have shown up as well beside the 'big few', now imagine if there had been no SpaceX. We'd likely just be left with NASA and robotic exploration only, at the speed of watching paint dry. Not that it's entirely NASA's fault either with the small budget they deal with (especially given space is only one area of NASA) (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budget_of_NASA#/media/File:NASA-Budget-Federal.svg ).

As a chemist, I find Elon’s dry humor as well as obvious humor fabulous. My favorite doctor in my laboratory never laughed, never smiled, but his dry humor was the best I have encountered thus far. I would hang out in his office and scientists who had been there longer then me would get upset I was “wasting his time.” However, I usually entered with a question the other scientists couldn’t answer, and he would explain what I needed to know And proceeded to continue the conversation- which I greatly enjoyed due to his dry, sarcastic humor. I was 21ish years old and he was 70+ years old. There was nothing weird going on- yet my colleagues were not thrilled about the fact that I could speak to him as a regular human, saying I wasted his time, yet once my question(s) were answered, he continued teaching me and told me things no other employee knew (as they didn’t understand the dry humor!) Also Elon is a dream man, S3XY for sure, I just wish he wasn’t a billionaire, the money is a turn off for me. His mind and intelligence are what get me going- per se! I love a human that can carry on an intelligent, science/ technology conversion with me and I love expanding my own understanding this way.
