This one dish is a complete meal in itself. Also it is so decadent and rich in flavors that anyone can fall in love easily whether it is kids or adults. A perfect family or weekend special meal! Lets make it and let me know yours thoughts in comments section.

Ingredients list for Paneer Makhani Pasta
• Cashew - 1/4 cup
• Whole Dried Red Chillies - 2 (optional)
• Poppy seeds - 2 tbsp (optional)
• Tomatoes - 2 medium size (Chopped into quarters)
• Onions - 1 Medium size (Chooped into quarters)
• Garlic cloves - 4-5
• Ginger - 1 small piece
• Ghee - 1 tbsp
• Paneer- 20 - 25 small cubes
• Kasuri Methi - 1 tbsp
• Cardomom (Green) - 2
• Tandoori Masala - 2 tbsp
• Heavy Whipping Cream - 2 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Pasta Shells - 1 cup
• Water for boiling
Ingredients for White Sauce
• All purpose flour - 2 tbsp
• Milk - 1/2 cup
• Butter - 1 tbsp
• Salt - 1 tsp
• Oregano - 1 tsp
Ingredients for Mini garlic naan
• All Purpose flour - 1/2 cup
• Whole Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup
• Salt - 1 tsp
• Active Dry Yeast - 1/2 tsp
• Sugar - 1 tsp
• Garlic - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
• Cilantro - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
• Butter - 2 tbsp
Detailed Recipe:
For Makhani gravy - Let’s start by soaking cashew, poppy seeds and dried red chilies in half cup of warm water
Cover and set it aside for 15 minutes
Heat a wide pan with 1 tbsp ghee
Next, add the roughly chopped onions and garlic
Add 1/2 tsp salt and saute for 3-4 minutes
Add roughly chopped ginger, tomatoes, 2 green cardamom and 2 tbsp Tandoori Masala
Lastly, add kasuri methi and soaked and drained cashew mixture
Cover and cook for 6-7 minutes low-medium flame
Once the gravy is well cooked, take off the heat
Once cooled, blend the gravy to a fine creamy paste
Add whipping cream to enhance the flavors and Makhani gravy is ready!
Boil 4-5 cups of water and cook pasta for 6-7 minutes in boiling water and drain
Lets make an easy white sauce and assemble the pasta
Heat up a pan add 1 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp All purpose flour
Add milk and cook for 2 minutes
Add Italian seasoning, shredded mozzarella cheese and 1 cup Makhani gravy we just made (keep it on till 3:35)
Add half cup of warm water if gravy is too thick
Lastly mix in Pasta and Paneer and serve hot!
In small mixing bowl, combine active dry yeast, honey, salt and lukewarm water
Let it sit for 5 minutes for yeast to bloom
Once the yeast is activated, add whole wheat flour and all purpose flour
With clean hands, knead for 30-40 seconds and form a soft dough
Coat the dough with 1 tbsp of oil
Cover and rest for atleast 30 minutes
In meantime, preheat oven at 425*F
Knead and fold the dough as show in the video for nice fluffy Naans
Cover and rest for 5 more minutes
Take a small dough ball and start rolling the naans as shown
Use dry flour for ease of rolling the naans
Lightly brush melted butter
Garnish some finely chopped garlic and cilantro
Bake for 7-9 minutes turning over halfway
Butter it up and serve it hot
Serve Makhani Pasta with warm buttery Naans and drizzle a bit of cream
