➡️ Multimodality will be the next big step in AI. Next, we will generate touch and movement. Data sources in this area are still limited. Radio and cinema are relatively old compared to sensors and IOT. Autonomous devices have truly entered our world. Global metropolises already have robotaxis and autonomous robots in factories. Nevertheless, the main purpose of their sensors is not to touch anything :). With AI-controlled robots, however, they will have to decide for themselves how to interpret touch and movement in their surroundings and how to take part in this sensory experience.
➡️ Over the past 200 million years, mammals have developed the ability to use movement strategically. This is what the neuro cortex is responsible for. How and when will AI affect the independence of machines?
