It brings me immense pride to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Indo-German collaboration between RV College of Engineering (RVCE) and Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg - Schweinfurt (THWS). This decade of partnership has not only strengthened academic ties but has also fostered a culture of cross-border knowledges exchange, enhancing the educational experience for both faculty and students.
Our collaboration has enabled 265 of our students to secure placements at THWS and other renowned German universities, demonstrating the high caliber of RVCE’s academic framework and its synergy with global standards. This exchange has enriched students’ learning experience, providing them with a global outlook and cutting-edge technical knowledge. t
Likewise, faculty exchanges and participation in International Teaching Week have provided our professors with exposure to international pedagogical practices, broadening their horizons and bringing new perspectives back to RVCE.
The collaboration spans six streams of engineering, marking it as a comprehensive effort to integrate excellence across disciplines. We are now looking forward to elevating this partnership with initiatives such as joint research programs, joint degree offerings, faculty sabbaticals, and twin programs. These next steps reflect our shared commitment to evolving and expanding our cooperation to benefit future generations of engineers.
We warmly welcome the delegation of over 10 professors visiting RVCE on November 12, 2024, and we look forward to hosting them as we celebrate this milestone together. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to RSST Trust for its unwavering support, which has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. Special appreciation is due to the teaching faculty members who have consistently contributed to the success of this program.
Finally, as we look forward to participating in India Day celebrations at THWS, we renew our commitment to fostering this partnership in the years to come. Together, we continue to build bridges between India and Germany, united in our pursuit of excellence in engineering education.
