Many thanks to Chanakya Forum for inviting these luminaries in the panel to discuss our hostile neighbour and educate Indians what security challenges we Indians face. I would like to request your esteemed forum also to discuss the national security threats which are looming large due to the politics in Bengal. Most sadly, we hardly find any worth mentioning focus to tackle the dangerous situation panning out in Bengal.

Unless until de islamisation of pakistan, no peace is possible for 1000 years. If refugee crisis happen. The refugee camp must be inside pakistan border operated by India. Anyone sympathizer who talk about food crisis in pakistan.. my answer is, after partition pakistan got fertile Sindhu basin (bread basket) and Gangetic delta (rice bowl) because of that India was hungry for 50/60 years until green revolution.

This is a very good decision. Based on what Sushant said and later Gen Hasnain concluded it is worthless to even try making peace with Pak. These people will not make any effort to improve the condition of their country, so it is useless for India to even attempt.

Non of you know about TTP and ISI games. TTP has been created and still control by the ISI and Napak Punjabi Army. Currently all the attacks going on in Pashtoon belt is carried out the ISI and Napak Punjabi army just to kill the Pashtoon civilians. On one side of the attack Brigade is peaceful were Punjabi people lives. The other side were pashtoons lives all the attacks are happening, even there is no fence and no soldier. I think in last 6 months no single Punjabi soldier has been killed, all those killed are Pashtoon police just to make an excuse to start the military operation against Pashtoon civilians and make dollars.

Agreed. For the last 2500 years, we always had invasions from indias NW ie hoons, Cynthians invasions, then Mohamed ghori, abdalis, moghuls etc endless streams coming and settling in india. We are still in the process of managing its after effects through various means ie reservations, mandal commission and all that. Central asia, afganistan, pakistan are poor and even Iran will start getting poor after oil reserves go away or oil itself is no more is money spinners as it is today once other forms of energy is available ie solar, hydrogen or small nuclear reactors. Then scenario will be like it was before 400 BC and thereafter. We will once again have another sets of hoons, Cynthians, AL qaeda start coming into india. You may have another front from bangaladesh ie Eastern front. Are we ready to Face?

In order to improve relations between SCO countries, Pakistan could propose railway connectivity between Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. The rail route could be via Termez (Uzbekistan), Kabul (Afghanistan), Peshawar (Pakistan) and Amritsar (India). This will facilitate trade and investment in the countries of Central and South Asia leading to further economic growth of this region.
