Abstract of the talk : In this session, Surya Sarathi Roy talks about what heritage means in general and delves into the case study of Vraja Mandala and its archaeological aspects. He explains the geographical expanse of Vraj and its historicity through the Yugas. In this panel discussion, he also sheds light on the paleography, numismatics, and temple architecture of Vraj.
About the speaker. : Surya Sarathi Roy, a technologist and a heritage conservationist, is the director of IHAR, North India Operations. He is an Associate Member of ICOMOS India (UNESCO) and a researcher at INTACH, New Delhi.
