Wow, again you amaze me with how close we have fished together. I started going to Baja about 7 years ago at Mako Bob's camp ! stayed in his garage MANY trips! I was there when he got sick and we got him back to the states. He was a good soul. Glad you got hooked up with his skiff! I had a hard on for that thing when he got it! Way cool video, the area where you were fishing looks tranquil. I've visited ensenada, San Felipe, loreto, Los barriles and cabo San Lucas Mexico. Smaller coastal baja towns are the best

those sierras are monterrey spanish mackerels read about them, it's super interesting and the ones you're calling pinto bass are goldspotted sand bass, they're in the same genus as calicos/sandies/spotties
