pangash macher jhal is a delightful bengali recipe native to the state of Bengal and bangladesh. It is loved by Bengalis for its unique taste and flavor. This fish recipe is made in bengali style with local ingredients and spices. Although it is not a common fish but you must try this fish curry recipe at home by following my recipe.
listing the basic ingredients with each of their quantity below-
GROUND SPICES :-
*turmeric powder - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
*chili powder - 1½ tsp
*Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 tsp
WHOLE SPICES :-
*black cumin - ½ tsp
VEGETABLES :-
*onion - 200 gm
*garlic paste - 1 tsp
*green chilies - 4 to 5 pcs
*tomato - 160 gm
OTHERS :-
*salt - 1 tsp + ½ tsp
*mustard oil - 1 cup
*pangas fish - 650 gm
