As a paleontology fan, I LOVE this game. I've played it 3 times so far as the amphibians with 3 players each time. Haven't had the blessing of having a fourth player yet but even with 3 the game is a lot of fun. Different strategies can be employed and the evolutions you choose and the actions you take greatly impact how well you do when the Permian extinction comes. It's a lot of fun!

Looks like it'll be good. But I already have, and love, dominant species. Will it be different enough to own both?

As I know, it is going to be more random than DS, it is the case of a few things like: spend your points to forecast where the impact and which kind of catastrofe is it going to be, get your species to every place and see if you have enough luck to survive or try to specialize and be more than dominant species haha so yeah, for me it seems more random and play-for-next-time game because of that, but competition and tactics should be at least at the similiar level... And of course, two important things - graphics much better than in DS and better adjustment of complicated/easytounderstand borders
