Everyone is missing the biggest news: PRC government is injecting cash into the stock market. This is insane. No modern government in their right mind would ever do this. The stock market is not hard/primary capital; the stock market is an overly fluid reallocation of short-term secondary finances. Injecting government cash directly into it will do nothing good and instead extremely destructive to the economy. No sane modern government would do this. It is literally throwing cash into the wind. That kind of decision-making is a far more telling sign of where PRC is heading.

The whole Fukushima stance as purely political anyway. Nobody outside China lent it any credit and those within China still continued to fish within the 'contaminated' waters without issue. All it did was send a wave of nationalism that likely contributed to the attacks on Japanese citizens within China last year. Something China doesn't want, not because it disapproves but because it's difficult to explain on the world stage when other nations take note.

I agree. I have suggested this idea in the past as well as well as linking to past episodes referenced in a current video. The biggest weakness I think Tony has with his channel is the fact that daily news episodes don’t invite watching past episodes unlike, say a cooking channel, but dates and links would help especially when conducting research about past events.

There is no logic behind this absurd claim. Gold has gone up at least 50% simply by virtue of inflation. A good economy is not going to cause deflation. Deflation will never be allowed in any managed fiat economy.

@anothermike48257 күн бұрын
@@jl-io3vw wow, you really don't deserve a response, but then you wouldn't see how narrow you thinking is: 1. there are 220million unfinished buildings that Chinese citizens are still having to pay for. That will drag down any economic wins for decades to come. 2. The US is a service country, not a manufacturing country. That has taken decades for the US to change. China can't change over night and won't be able to make the transition without incurring significant problems. So to spell it out for you, the US and China aren't the same and china won't be able to make the transition any time soon. 3. Tony isn't my only source of information. 4. Both India and Vietnam took manufacturing jobs from china during covid. That reduces the demand for stuff made in china. It isn't difficult to understand and that'll be the major source of pain for china in the future. 5. where did you get your info from and how are you thinking for yourself?

I didn’t see any indicator that the business survey was weighted by the volume of business these companies do in China. Therefore I would imagine that it is highly skewed by the many small companies that manufacture and export dishes, toys, etc. from China and are not under any immediate pressure to leave, but also aren’t strategically critical to the West. It may not be a very valuable survey.
