Ingredients:
- 1 cup wheat flour (aata)
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds and cashews
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Instructions:
1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee over medium heat.
2. Add the wheat flour (aata) to the pan and roast it on low to medium heat until it turns golden brown and emits a nutty aroma. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
3. Once the wheat flour is roasted, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
4. Add the powdered sugar, chopped almonds, cashews, raisins, desiccated coconut, and cardamom powder to the roasted wheat flour. Mix everything well until it's evenly combined.
5. Allow the mixture to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container.
Your Aata Panjiri is ready to be enjoyed! It's a nutritious and delicious Indian sweet that is often served during festivals and special occasions.
